Prof. Patrick Wang from NU Gives A Lecture in CIE

Prof. Patrick Wang, from College of Computer Information and Science, Northeastern University, USA, gives a lecture titled “IPR & Applications to Handwriting Recognition” to students and teachers of CIE.

Prof. Wang introduces the development and relationship between Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence and points out the main focus of the two: learning. He also cites large numbers of examples to illustrate his ideas. Prof. Wang also puts forward the idea that computer science has significant relationship with linguistics.

CIE students and teachers show great interest in Prof. Wang’s lecture and interact with him very well.
