专家简介:Prof. Ivanovic is the author or co-author of 16 textbooks, several international monographs, numerous proceedings of international conferences (published by Springer, ACM, IEEE). She also published with collaborators more than 480 research papers, most of which are published in highly ranked international journals and conferences.
Her research interests include a wide range of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering methods and approaches like: agent technologies, data mining, machine learning, federated learning, programming techniques and compiler construction, and so on. In the last 15 years her research interests are mostly focused on different approaches of Artificial Intelligence and their applications in several domains like time-series analysis, in medical domains, in technology enhanced learning, and in software project management.
She is/was a member of Program Committees of more than 350 international conferences, Program/General Chair of more than 20 international conferences, and leader and participants of numerous international research projects on contemporary ICT topics.
Mirjana Ivanovic delivered many keynote speeches at international conferences and visited many academic institutions all over the world as visiting researcher and teacher (Germany, Bulgaria, Czeck Republic, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Poland, Portugal, Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand).
Currently she is Editor-in-Chief of the Computer Science and Information Systems journal with impact factor.
She is also a member of the editorial boards of the following journals: INFORMATICS IN EDUCATION (since 2016), Lithuania; KES International Journal of Knowledge-Based Systems and Intelligent Engineering (since 2018), IOS Press; Magazine for information and Telecommunications (since 2018), Taylor and Francis. She was also a guest editor in numerous international journals with high impact factors.
Mirjana Ivanović was an external evaluator and a member of the committee for the evaluation and defense of doctoral dissertations in Australia, Czech Republic, Finland, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden. She was a supervisor for over 200 graduate and master theses and 15 PhD these at the University of Novi Sad.
She has been an expert and reviewer of projects in the European Commission since 2015 (H2020 projects several calls, Marie Skłodovska-Curie individual scholarships, KA1 joint master's degrees – ERASMUS+, COST Action). She also evaluated projects for scientific agencies in Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Spain, Estonia, Netherlands.
She has been a member of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) since 1989 and IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Computational Collective Intelligence since 2019.
