Overview
Department of Electronic Engineering is the new department which developed on the basis of the originalShanghaiMaritimeUniversitycommunications and navigation professional. Department of Electronic Engineering is trying to cultivate senior technical personnels engaged in electronics and communication engineering.
Department of Electronic Engineering now has two undergraduate programs: Electronic and Information Engineering and Communication Engineering; it owns a master disciplines of information and communication engineering, signal and information processing, the two academic master’s degree in communications and information systems, electronic and communications engineering a professional master’s, and doctoral and power electronics and power transmission joint training of doctoral students.
Department of Electronic Engineering, has presided over the last three years the State 863 Project 2, involved in 863 projects a 9; auspices of the National Natural Science Foundation of the University doctoral Fund (Ph.D.), Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai, Shanghai Education Commission innovation projects with surface project, national Science and Technology support Program subprojects and Shanghai the “dawn scholars” project, presided over the General Armament Department of defense pre-research Fund, nearly 40, and to undertake a number of large-scale horizontal research projects.
The main research directions: intelligent information processing, computer monitoring and control system, the diagnosis and control of unmanned underwater robots, autonomous underwater robot path planning and safe navigation technology, image processing and pattern recognition, modern communication systems, intelligent transportation, ship navigation technology biological information processing, multi-sensor information fusion.
