Jiang Shengming, Male, Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, successively obtained Bachelor’s Degree at Shanghai Marine Institute in 1988, Master’s Degree at Université Paris VI in 1992, and Doctor’s Degree at Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in 1995, and served as Associate Research Fellow, Senior Technical Researcher, Deputy Scientist Leader, Head Docent, Professor in several institutes and universities, namely, The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, The National University of Singapore, Institute for Infocomm Research, University of Glamorgan, and South China University of Technology. He has been engaged in researches on structure, protocol, and algorithm of communication network, including both wired and wireless network.
As one of the core members, he participated in “973” and “863” program of the state. He published an English book named Springer, over 100 papers, among which were 7 papers published in top-level journals and conferences as first writer, i.e. IEEE INFOCOM (2001), IEEE Transactions on Communications (2004), IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (2005), IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (2004, 2006), ACM SIGCOMM Computer Communication Review(2005, 2007) with quotation of over one thousand times. He also received 3 China Invention Patent and is honored as “My Favorite Supervisor” at South China University of Technology, high caliber personnel of “Thousand Talents Program” of Shanghai. He served as Chairman of ICCS 2008 Organization Committee, member of TPC of more than 30 international academic conferences, as well as guest editor of International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks.
